Who is it for?
The portraits are for anyone who wishes to celebrate older people in their local community. The three portraits displayed here are of the older people in the Ageing Well co-design team. They were gifted to them as a thank you from the co-design team for their contribution to the project.
What does it do?
In the words of the artist, Andy Archer, the portraits ‘remind all generations that older people are treasure troves of adventure and knowledge’.
How can you use it?
The portraits can be used to remind people that older people are assets to their communities. They can support good conversations to underpin strengths-based approaches to assessment and support planning.
